Partner Services Manager - Smule

Job Description

  • Work cross-functionally to drive and deliver scalable solutions for Smule
  • Align with Product, Operations, Community & Partner teams to own the overall execution & timeline of partnership projects
  • Support managed partners (production companies, labels, artists, non-media entities, etc) and liaise with internal stakeholders (local and global) to ensure that partners have the best possible experience on the platform
  • Own partnership analyses, create post-activation wrap-up and reports to share with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively synthesise findings, develop recommendations and communicate results as they relate to the ecosystem
  • Collect, deliver, and operationalise market feedback to help craft product strategies, serving as an internal advocate for partners
  • Identify operational opportunities and help improve or innovate new processes to drive strategic growth in the vertical
  • Assist in the planning & execution of key partnership events/activations
  • Manage the implementation and optimisation of existing products and upcoming rollouts through educational training and workshops

Industry Experience:

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in online operations, client servicing, or account/partner management in media/agency industry
  • Extensive experience & knowhow of social media platforms and tools
  • Experience working independently with project management experience and a proven track record of ownership and proactiveness
  • Experience working cross-functionally, both internally and externally
  • Experience thinking strategically (and on feet), prioritizing tasks and taking initiative
  • Analytics experience turning data into a narrative

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - should be able to condense complex ideas into simplified, actionable notes
  • Has a creative approach to things

Social Media & Community Associate - Wattpad

  • The Role: Social Media and Community associate will play an important role in developing and executing strategies across multiple channels to drive growth and engage our existing users.
  • Develop and implement community and social media strategies and best practices across various community and social media channels (i.e. Blog, In-App messages, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc).
  • Research about the best practices of competition’s social media activations
  • Development of always-on social media plans and identify opportunities for day-to-day media and consumer conversations as part of an overall communication strategy.
  • Help in driving brand equity through a clear, impactful online presence.
  • Develop innovative ways to create user engagement and create and run communities around them.
  • Support Community Initiatives such as events/meetups/competitions
  • Manage social media campaign execution and scheduling including day-to-day content sourcing and creation as well as post-campaign analysis.
  • Constantly test, optimize and analyse campaigns and projects based on key KPIs of engagement/participation.
  • On a need-to-do basis, communicate directly with users via social media channels and in-App including directing and responding to questions, engaging in conversation, connecting with key influencers.
  • Ability to use social media intelligence to correctly interpret, document, and report out what the community thinks. This includes both positive/negative sentiment, as well as topic analysis and breakdowns across the entire digital ecosystem, not just the vocal minority.
  • Help in forging partnerships with key external stakeholders like authors, publication houses and other influencers from the literary and entertainment fields.

Industry Experience and Required Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience of managing communities and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, blogs, etc.)
  • Ability to engage and motivate an online/mobile community
  • Analytical skills to measure and understand how social and community campaigns deliver impact to broader company business and marketing objectives
  • Deep understanding of Entertainment landscape of the country including movies, music & publishing.
  • Ability to work individually and with cross-functional teams to develop campaigns and drive results. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Great eye for high-quality impactful content
  • Understanding of best practice community, social, digital, content and channel marketing
  • Bachelors/master’s degree with relevant background

Great to have:

  • Prior experience of working/engaging with publication houses and authors and other influencers from the literary field
  • Experience of working with non-profit organizations
